We’re Skylar and Eleni, childhood best friends and proud locals of Curaçao. We grew up exploring every corner of this beautiful island and now share a passion for helping visitors experience it in the most authentic and enjoyable way.

About Skylar
Hello! I’m Skylar, born and raised on the beautiful island of Curaçao to a Curaçaoan father and an American mother. Thanks to my dad; a true local, I grew up spending weekends exploring hidden beaches, neighborhood favorites, and all the best local spots with my family.
I grew up on the southeast side of the island, around the Jan Thiel and Mambo area. Many of my evenings were spent at the original Mambo Beach (Wet & Wild Beach Club, anyone?), so I've had the unique opportunity to watch these once-local hangouts transform into some of Curaçao's most popular tourist destinations.
After graduating high school, I moved to the United States to pursue my education. While living there, I traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally, and quickly realized my favorite way to experience a destination is through its local culture. I'm always searching for hidden gems, locally loved restaurants, and experiences that go beyond the typical tourist itinerary.
That passion is what inspired Eleni and I to create Things to Do Curaçao. We wanted to share the Curaçao we know and love while supporting the incredible local businesses that make our island so special. Our goal is to help visitors discover authentic experiences, explore beyond the usual tourist hotspots, and leave with a genuine connection to our island.

Hi!! I'm Eleni. I was born and raised in Curaçao, but after living in Florida, New Zealand, Australia, and England and backpacking around the world, I realized there truly is no place like home.
If traveling taught me anything, it's that planning a trip isn't always easy. I know what it's like to spend hours researching destinations, trying to figure out which experiences are worth it, and wondering which tour operators are trustworthy. My years of traveling have given me an understanding of what makes a trip memorable, while my local knowledge gives me access to the best experiences on the island. It's this combination that allows me to create itineraries that are both authentic and completely tailored to you.
These days, I'm always exploring the island, searching for new experiences and hidden gems to share with visitors. If you're looking for adventure, I'm your go-to. From off-road jeep tours and ATV rides to scuba diving and local events, I love discovering everything Curaçao has to offer beyond the typical tourist spots.
Although you might spot me in a few of our social media videos, most of my work happens behind the scenes. I spend my days connecting with tour operators, coordinating with car rental companies, discovering new local experiences, and - my personal favorite - chatting with you! I take the time to understand your travel style, interests, and priorities so I can create a personalized itinerary that takes the stress out of planning and helps you experience the very best of Curaçao.
